History of the company1991 – The wood processing company LESOJ d.o.o. is established in the home courtyard. The company initially employed three people and later hired a new employee each year. The company grew along with the number of employees with the company’s customers and employees satisfied with the home sawmill.
1997/98 – The company buys its first forestry truck due to increasing demand for transport services, thereby ensuring its own transport of wood from the forest to the sawmill and final customers. The company has 10 employees.
1999 – 2006 – Company operations grow relatively quickly with the company hiring one to two new employees each year. The number of trucks in 2006 grew to seven. The ownership structure did not change throughout the period with the company’s organization remaining identical. The company recorded a sharp growth in sales revenues each year, amounting to 89% annually.
2007 – The company now employs 19 people. Market conditions and increased demand such as current offers force the company to expand production, employ additional staff and relocate to a new and larger location.
2008 – Investments into the acquisition of the Doppstadt DH 910 chipper is implemented, the most capable chip production machine of that time.
2009 – Purchase of land and investment into a so-called wood biomass collection centre where the company’s business premises are also located. The company now has 14 trucks specialised in the transport of timber and wood waste. The company has 23 employees. 2011 – Investment into the 30.000m2 of land, for wood and biomass processing. 2014 – Expanding production capacities and export for 20% comparing with a year 2013. |
