WOOD BIOMASS


Small, machine-crushed pieces of wood, which are predominantly for energy.

Wood biomass includes forestry residues, by-products from industrial wood processing and chemically untreated wood. Forestry residues include branches, crowns, small-diameter tree trunks and less qualitative timber that is not suitable for further industrial processing.
